Every plan enforces the full rule library for the categories it covers, kept current for you. Plans differ only in how many product categories they include. See category coverage for the list. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and each shop gets one trial in total rather than one per plan. Full terms are in the app terms.

Questions

Is Gatekeep legal advice?
No. Gatekeep reports what published sources say and blocks checkout based on those rules. It doesn't tell you what's legal for your business. Ask a lawyer about your own obligations.
What happens when a rule changes?
The rule library is updated against the new primary source and your checkout starts using the new rule. You don't need to do anything, and there's nothing for you to re-read.
What if a rule is unclear?
Gatekeep blocks by default. When a source leaves room for doubt, the destination is treated as restricted until the question is resolved.
How am I billed?
Through Shopify, as a monthly charge on your Shopify bill.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged.
Can I trial more than one plan?
No. Each shop gets one free trial in total, not one per plan. If you trial Standard and later switch to Plus, the new plan is billed from the day you switch.
